The images are somewhat different from the story. July is said to be the only human, but in one image there's an all human class, the wolverine is from X-men. And why is there fire and smoke in the foreground? Is the classroom on fire?

best sith, Ventress, omg she is awesome and I love her story arc, of being betrayed by her master and helping ahsoka/anakin! +++ her interactions as the enemy of the three-Obiwan/Ahsoka/Anakin, always an awesome encounter, and I think she's kinda hot... ;p

It IS Plo Koon (well, after Master Yoda). Followed by Kit Fisto. Just for his smile and bad@ss name. LEAST favorite: Mace Windu. Arrogant prick thinks he's superior. Ki-Adi Mundi (while I don't HATE him) is a d*ckhead. Never liked the one with the missing horn and the eyepatch, either. Always a sourpuss look on his face. Humorless old man.

While my fav Obi/Ani moment is really the fight between Obi and “Darth” in the Obi-wan series. But, I think best Obi/Ani moment is the flashback in the same series to Obi and Ani sparring to apparently see if he is ready to become a knight.

0:49 the Executor is NOT a Star dreadnought. It is a Super Star Destroyer. You are trying to apply real life ship classification to science fantasy. The “Destroyer” in the name is not a classification, but is a description of the ship’s perceived power. That it is supposedly powerful enough to “Destroy a Star”. As clearly a Star Destroyer is bigger than a Star Cruiser (the Mon Calamari ships were Star Cruisers). The Mon Calamari Star Cruisers were called cruisers because they were converted civilian cruise liners. Also, Imperial Star Destroyers and Mon Calamari Star Cruisers are clearly the Star Wars Universe’s equivalent of Battleships.

Okay, I'm going to come right out and say it since no one else will: The Star Wars Holiday Special was a HIT with children at the time. Yes, variety shows were very popular at the time (hence why it was done in that format), and Star Wars was printing money at the box office. I don't know what my grandmother (who raised me) thought of the whole thing, but because Star Wars had affected me the way it did, we watched it. At 11 years old when it aired, I loved it! But of course, it was the only Star Wars content we had aside from the actual movie, the novel of the movie, and maybe some comic books/trading cards. Yes, Lucas hated it, critics probably did, as well. But the target audience (kids).... LOVED it!

I agree with everything you said. Anything Star Wars was rather thin on the ground back then and we didn't even know there was going to be another instalment, either. The show was a fairly decent romp and was certainly intended for a youth audience. I was only around 6 years of age when it aired, forgot all about it but I do remember something about 'Chewbacca and tree houses' but put it down to something of a 'fever dream' type thing. It was definitely a muddled piece of a cash grab, and I can see why it earned Lucas's ire. But hey, we liked it, so he oughtta take a chill pill and calm the heck down. Listening to Bea Arthur scaring the customers out of the Cantina with her singing is worth it alone. Classic stuff. 'Life Day' should definitely be on a par with 'The Force' as one of Star Wars' greatest legacies to modern culture Happy Life Day

Why do people keep trying to apply things like logic and real science to Star Wars? George Lucas never prioritized those things in the original trilogy. Why should the new filmmakers making Star Wars projects now do it any differently? It's about the thrills we get watching it, not intellectual logic. So, either enjoy the ride or don't. Theres no need to nitpick so much with a franchise that isn't supposed to "make sense." And to all those that would disagree with me that the original trilogy threw logic (even within it's own Universe's rules) out the window, I present my "Exhibit A" in this case. In "The Empire Strikes Back" (which is STILL the greatest Star Wars movie of them all, and likely will always remain so...) it was CLEARLY established that the Millennium Falcon's only means of faster than light travel, its hyperdrive, was damaged beyond repair (barring outside assistance) either before or during the escape from the Hoth System. And yet, the ship was still able to make it to Bespin on sublight engines alone. And it is also clear that in this story Bespin was not in the same system because the characters on the Falcon were openly considering their options, and naming other systems (literally using the word "system" at least once to do so), before Bespin was even mentioned and decided upon as their destination. The spaces between star systems in galaxies are measured in lightyears and parsecs. Logically, there is no way the Millenium Falcon could have made it from one system to another on sublight engines alone while its biological occupants were even still alive, let alone with them not even seeming to age significantly at all. So, again, I say either shut up and enjoy the ride, or don't enjoy it and just stop with the endlessly unneccessary nitpicking if you don't. Star Wars has always been nothing more than obviously flawed escapism. Just let it continue to be what it is.

The dumbest thing about Star Wars Rebels was how frequently the Rebels did not kill the stormtroopers and imperials they went up against, instead just knocking them out or stunning them most of the time. Sure they killed bad guys some of the time, but they were fighting a guerilla war. You can't win such a war by refusing to diminish your enemy's numbers while fighting them. If this show hadn't aired on the Disney Channel originally, the Ghost crew's body count likely would have been much higher.

I don't really like how you guys decided to show David Prowse when saying "those who made *tiny* contributions" to the series at 2:29 to 2:34. Sure, JEJ made Vader's voice iconic but even he himself didn't think he deserved a credit originally considering every non-verbal quality that made Vader VADER was Prowse.

From someone who's a little older and was alive when Star Wars came out, I'll tell you... "The Making of Star Wars" was a big deal. We didn't have companion CDs, Disney+, or UA-cam fan sites to get behind the scenes footage. Now, I was only nine at the time so I might be wrong, but I don't think a "The Making of ________" special about ANY movie had been done before. This made it feel special. So while, sure... The production was a little goofy by today's standards, back then it was pure gold.

Specific to one franchise, I don't believe there was. However, there were some documentaries made involving specific parts of a genre, IIRC. I remember watching (as a kid in the 1970s) programs about movie makeups (masks vs appliances), stop motion animation, model building/filming, "simple" gore effects, those kinds of things. They would use examples from various movies and show how they were done, and most of them were 30 minutes long (though I vaguely remember one that lasted an hour an covered a lot of different things). I also had several books about how to do the makeups "at home with household materials" that were geared for children.

So when it comes to the whole 'Like and his mom' thing, there is another thing to keep in mind - everything he's been told is likely from his uncle Owen and his aunt Beru. Who as far as I recall - met her that one time briefly on Tatooine. Owen likely learned more about Anakin or at least had more to go off of when making up things about his being a pilot and all (as well as the line when Beru says he's too much like his father and Owen replies 'That's what I'm afraid of' so he definitely has some knowledge), which is then followed by Obi-Wan mentioning his father - not his mother. Obi-Wan is likely the one that knew his mother best of those he met, other than if Leia was told about her from her adoptive parents, and we all know how forthcoming with the truth he was in the OT - for all we know Luke asked off screen and told him she was some moisture farmer on Tatooine so he wouldn't go digging.
